CASA, together with the Performance Art Museum, presents Música Rebelde, Central America’s Popular Movement Music, an analog mixed media listening series of the music and art of Central America’s 1970s-90 revolutions. The listening sessions will highlight selected vinyl and tape albums from various social conscious music groups of Nicaragua and El Salvador.

Snow is predicted to fall outside the AD&A Museum as part of a restaging of Bonnie Ora Sherk’s performance Snow Job (1970). Flavored snow cones will be given out and spectators are invited to enjoy themselves in a performance score writing workshop and durational performance presented by Ajani Brannum.

Public Spirits is a daylong festival featuring new performance works by Puppies Puppies (Jade Guanaro Kuriki-Olivo), Pau S. Pescador, Da Ron Vinson, and Ryat Yezbick. A year-long project marking the 50th anniversary of Suzanne Lacy’s landmark 1976 performance Cinderella in a Dragster. Titled Cinderella Redux, this work revisits Lacy’s original exploration of speed, time, and identity through a contemporary lens, culminating in a live, public performance.
